Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026. This policy is a working draft prepared for Golden State Social Sports and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.
Who we are
Golden State Social Sports (“GS3”, “we”) operates recreational adult sports leagues in Oakland, California, and this website. You can reach us at info@gs3ball.com.
What we collect
When you contact us or register for a league, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in a message or registration form. Our website also collects standard technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) through analytics cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to run the league: placing you on a team, sharing schedules and league announcements, responding to your questions, and letting you know about upcoming seasons and events. We do not sell your personal information.
Registration and payments
League registration and payments are handled by our registration platform. When you register, the information you submit is processed by that platform under its own privacy policy. We do not store your payment card details on this website.
Photos and media
GS3 games and events are social, and we regularly photograph and film them for our website and social media channels. If you would prefer not to appear in league photos or videos, email us at info@gs3ball.com and we will accommodate you.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics (for example, Google tools that help us understand how visitors use the site). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the league and this website (such as our registration platform, email provider, and website host), and when required by law.
Retention and your rights
We keep league records only as long as needed to operate GS3. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@gs3ball.com.
Age
GS3 leagues are for adults. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
